Noble Horizons Nurse, Autumn Cockcroft, Honored – Receives Optum’s Clinical Excellence Award

June 16, 2021 (Salisbury CT) On Wednesday, June 16th, Optum – a global healthcare product and service provider for over 125 million consumers and nine out of ten U.S. hospitals – awarded Noble’s Assistant Director of Nursing, Autumn Cockcroft, with their Clinical Excellence Award.

Along with the distinction, Autumn received the following citation , “Autumn has been truly incredible in helping facilitate challenging conversations and serving as an everyday ambassador of professionalism and outstanding patient care.  She conducts herself with integrity and leadership and carries out her duties with poise and dedication, never raising her voice in anger or frustration, or complaining about the responsibilities that she shoulders the burden of.

She has a calm demeanor with a sincere servant’s heart and it shows from a mile away. Autumn stands out as a nurse in a league of her own, ready to lend a helping hand to anyone who needs it…whether she is asked outrightly or responding to an unspoken request for assistance that she inferred from her careful observations of those around her.”

William Pond, Administrator of Noble Horizons, is incredibly proud of Autumn and all the staff at Noble Horizons. “Our staff continuously works hard to meet the rigorous expectations of the Department of Public Heath, Centers for Medicare and Medicare Services (CMS), and Noble Horizons itself. They are the reason we have retained our CMS 5-Star Rating for 7 consecutive quarters and how we remained COVID free throughout the pandemic. Autumn especially has stepped up. Not only is she a hard worker who is dedicated to Noble Horizons, but she goes above and beyond for our residents. She’s a true team player and a wonderful role model. We are very lucky to have her as well as the many other dedicated staff members in the Noble Horizons family. “

Noble Horizons, a non-profit, CMS 5-Star Rated senior living community located on 110-wooded and landscaped acres in Salisbury, Connecticut, has remained COVID-free throughout the pandemic.  It offers short term and outpatient rehabilitation, cottage and apartment-style accommodations, skilled nursing, and memory care.  More information is available at www.noblehorizons.org or 860-435-9851.
