Noble Horizons AUXILIARY

The Noble Horizons Auxiliary was founded in 1975 with one guiding purpose: to help make life for Noble Horizons residents as pleasurable and as fulfilling as possible.

The Auxiliary raises funds for special services and equipment that benefit Noble residents through such popular annual events as the Festival of Trees, the Holiday Fair, Book and Tag Sales, and the year-round operation of the Country Store.

The proceeds from these fundraising efforts provide substantial financial gifts that benefit the entire Noble community. These gifts include:

  • Day trips & excursions
  • Dining room flowers & Annual lobster dinner
  • All pet related expenses
  • Adds to the large print and video collections of the library
  • The Employee Scholarship Fund
  • Entertainment and clubhouse social events
  • Christmas presents for Cobble Wagner, Riga and Whitridge residents
  • The Resident Supplementary Fund
  • Art and craft classes
  • Subscription to Netflix

Some of the Auxiliary members volunteer their time on a regular basis, such as tending the Country Store, while others work on special events

The Noble Horizons Auxiliary welcomes new members and extends a special invitation to the families and friends of Noble residents.

Auxiliary COOKBOOK

Almost a decade ago Noble Horizons’ Auxiliary undertook an ambitious project…publishing a cookbook to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Noble Horizons’ founding.  A committee of Auxiliary members worked months collecting and editing recipes from residents, staff, board members, local restaurants and the community at large. In the end, over 340 recipes were printed in an attractive book featuring photos by renowned local photographer, Joseph Meehan and John Emmons.

Through the years The Country Store has sold dozens of the cookbook for the reasonable price of $20.  While supplies last, now is the time to purchase your copy at the Country Store.

All proceeds will support the Auxiliary’s mission of raising funds to enrich the lives of Noble Horizons residents.
