A September to Remember!

After celebrating Labor Day and approaching the end of the summer season, we are taking advantage of all the outdoor time we can. Our Garden Club has been hard at work producing an abundance of fresh flowers and vegetables that we are enjoying as well as sharing with our local community. The hard work of the residents and staff to make this communal garden a success has not gone unnoticed. We relish the sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that this program brings to us, and we hope to continue to harvest into the autumn months by producing our own pumpkins to carve.

Our outdoor concert series has been well-received and our most recent was an overwhelming success! The Fab 3 brought us back in time as if on a magical musical mystery tour through the lives and genres of the best loved Beatles music. Deirdre, David and Frank had the crowd of all generations singing along to I Want to Hold Your Hand and showing us that All You Need is Love! The generosity from the community to support the funding for our new transport vehicle by purchasing refreshments was positively heartwarming. Thank you to all who joined in on all these special live events, and please save the date for our last outdoor concert with 5 Day Knights on September 16th. Read below about all the September programs, activities and of course the semi-annual Tag Sale that we would like to share with you.

Noble Horizons is pleased to announce our last outdoor concert! These local musicians will make you move and sing along to some of the greatest hits of our time. This is a free family fun event that will take place on the lawn in front of our pond on Saturday, September 16th from 3-5PM. Bring your own chair/blanket and relish in the beauty of our campus. 5 Day Knights is a jam style band performing a mix of covers and originals with genres that include bluegrass, folk, rock, Motown, funk, blues and jazz. Their influences range from The Grateful Dead, Allman Brothers, Crosby, Stills Nash & Young and The Marshall Tucker Band to modern jazz/funk fusion. The music creates a feel-good environment you don't want to miss.
