Article from Republican American:

SALISBURY – Mary Barton was honored at last week’s community picnic to celebrate Noble Horizon’s 50th anniversary.

Executive Director Bill Pond said Barton spent 45 years as a friend to former director Eileen Mulligan and has clocked innumerable hours as a volunteer.

Mulligan established the Noble Horizons Volunteer Award to recognize the contributions of those who have touched the lives of residents. It will now be named the Mary Barton Volunteer Award and the plaque will hang at the facility’s entrance.

“Of course, the first winner of the Mary Barton Volunteer Award is Mary Barton, whose 49 years of selfless service to the residents of Noble Horizons is unmatched,” Pond said.
