Under the careful tutelage of Canine Link Pet Therapy trainers, these earnest four-legged students are sharpening their manners while providing incomparable entertainment for the residents. We can't wait to officially welcome them as certified therapy dogs.

Barrington to enjoy a delicious meal at longtime favorite Koi Chinese restaurant. This week they'll be zipping down to Amenia for the opening of Fudgy's, the area's perennial favorite purveyor of ice cream cones.

Meet The Lakeville Journal's New Editor
Please join us on April 30 at 11 am for a program with John Coston, the new editor of The Lakeville Journal. Coston will discuss the importance of community journalism and how it will inform his leadership of The Lakeville Journal.
Coston spent 33 years as a journalist with The Wall Street Journal, is a published author, and
has been in the northwest corner for close to 40 years. While at The Wall Street Journal Coston was deputy foreign editor, markets editor, and national news editor. In The Lakeville Journal’s April 7 announcement of Coston’s position, he said, “I believe people want to know…what’s going on in their communities. And it’s getting harder to find that out. So community journalism is vital to an informed public.”
Coston is a graduate of Columbia University and lives on a farm in East Canaan where he raises sheep. His wife, Bridget, is the daughter of former Lakeville Journal columnist, Hatsy Taylor. Please register for this in-person program at www.noblehorizons.org.
Fine Art, Wine, and Friends
Please join us on May 6 from 5-7 pm for fabulous art, wine and hors d'oeuvres. Former White Gallery owners, Tino and Susan Galluzzo have donated pieces of their art collection to Noble Horizons which will be on display for the community.
Founded in 2002, the White Gallery was an arts destination for nearly two decades, featuring the best local, regional, national, and international artists while supporting the local arts community. From the annual exhibit of Housatonic Valley Regional High School student artwork to free lectures, workshops, concerts, and the popular Gallery Nights in Lakeville, the Galluzzos' impact on the local arts scene has been substantial. Don't miss the opportunity to enjoy an evening of fine art, beverages and delectable finger foods.
Celebration Postponed

After much deliberation, I have decided that I cannot, in good conscience, hold the volunteer recognition party as planned next week. The State’s Covid positivity rate is currently 7.3% and our county’s transmission level is high. I am so eager to recognize all of you, but my top priority is to keep you safe and healthy.
I am therefore postponing our volunteer recognition party and will announce a new date once it has been determined. Foremost in my mind is everyone's well-being. Please stay well.
