Mid August 2026 - On The Horizons
Community Involvement At Noble Horizons

The beginning of August has truly been a whirlwind of activity here at Noble Horizons! Our recent community blood drive was a resounding success, drawing in more participants than ever before—proof that when we come together, we can achieve remarkable things! We were also delighted to join the Lakeville Journal street fair, where we had the chance to connect with fellow nonprofits and share our mission of support and compassion. And let’s not forget the delicious annual lobster feast hosted by our wonderful Noble Auxiliary, which left our residents and staff feeling spoiled and cherished! As we look ahead to the rest of summer, we’re excited to share our upcoming fundraising initiatives, musical performances, art classes and exhibits, health & wellness, and informational presentations that promise to bring even more joy and support to our senior community. So, grab your friends and get ready for some fun—because at Noble Horizons, we believe that community involvement is the secret ingredient to a fulfilling life!

Man One Art Exhibit Opening Sunday, September 6 12:00-2:00 Learning Center Open for vewing until October 13

man-one-new

JEAN is a native of Sharon, CT now residing in Salisbury, CT. Her 2022 sold out show, “If Squirrels Came In Cool Colors” at Noble Horizons, showcased her work with watercolor, pen and ink, telling the stories of many small woodland creatures in and around her yard.

From there JEAN went in search of deeper colors, wanting more pop than watercolors could provide. Over 2023 and 2024 she found ink. JEAN began taking workshops and classes at Five Points Art Center, helping her develop diverse printmaking skills. In 2025 JEAN hosted a solo show titled “Garden Interrogations”, monoprint portraits featuring primarily crows and coyotes.

In MAN ONE, the monoprint technique is joined by silkscreen and woodcut printing, in an inkfest unlike anything else. JEAN dives deep into

HUMANS as her subject. She has been observing humans up and down her whole life as a photographer. Now, rather than recording existing humans, she is creating new ones…

Come check out “MAN ONE” from

September 6 (opening reception from 12:00-2:00) to October 13.
