JEAN is a native of Sharon, CT now residing in Salisbury, CT. Her 2022 sold out show, “If Squirrels Came In Cool Colors” at Noble Horizons, showcased her work with watercolor, pen and ink, telling the stories of many small woodland creatures in and around her yard.

From there JEAN went in search of deeper colors, wanting more pop than watercolors could provide. Over 2023 and 2024 she found ink. JEAN began taking workshops and classes at Five Points Art Center, helping her develop diverse printmaking skills. In 2025 JEAN hosted a solo show titled “Garden Interrogations”, monoprint portraits featuring primarily crows and coyotes.

In MAN ONE, the monoprint technique is joined by silkscreen and woodcut printing, in an inkfest unlike anything else. JEAN dives deep into
HUMANS as her subject. She has been observing humans up and down her whole life as a photographer. Now, rather than recording existing humans, she is creating new ones…
