Since we last reached out, we were very lucky that the weather held out for us to celebrate some very unique experiences. We hosted the Yoga and Books program thanks to the Scoville Library where a certified Yoga instructor held a class on the lawn, followed by story time with local children reading to the residents.
This remarkable generational program brought joy to all who participated. The children then made drawings on the sidewalks with chalk to brighten up the scene for our first official outdoor concert. Josh Driver wowed us with his musical stylings and drew a crowd of residents, staff, volunteers and even hikers off the Appalachian Trail!
It was a wonderful start to our concert series that we hope continues as long as Mother Nature is cooperative. Save the date for August 26th from 3-5 where we will be entertained by The Fab 3 who will be performing some of the best Beatles songs that will have you singing along. Please see below for more details about our upcoming events.
