Incredible Coincidence, Art Returns, Celebrate

April 1 arrived with a spectacular rainbow, a colorful harbinger of good things to come!  In fact, good things are already popping up across campus, including perky daffodils and fragrant hyacinth!

Other good things include the return of our friends from Canine Link who will begin teaching a series of pet therapy classes this week. Residents claim that watching the dogs train with their owners is almost as much fun as their pet therapy visits.

We are also thrilled to welcome back the Taconic Learning Center; Noble Horizons was an original TLC partner, hosting its first TLC class in 1989.  The TLC's mission is to foster life-long learning and currently, seven Noble residents are listed on their Honor Roll of Instructors.  Please check their website for the spring class schedule.

Celebrate!

Plans are well underway for what we hope will be Noble's largest Volunteer Recognition celebration ever!  Since its founding 50 years ago, volunteers have been essential to life at Noble, serving as friendly visitors, fundraisers, community event organizers, teachers, librarians, and so much more. There will be very special volunteer gifts, a delectable array of delicious food and beverages (including a drink created for volunteers!), and a major announcement.

If you have donated your time to Noble Horizons at any point in the last 50 years, please RSVP and make plans to join us on April 28 from 5-7 pm!  We look forward to welcoming you back and most of all, to saying, thank you!!!!

Sarah has spent a lot of time on campus, not only visiting family, but enjoying the community programs, especially the Taconic Learning Center classes where she served as the organization’s secretary... Read more...
