Secret Sounds of Salisbury Ponds

On Sunday May 5 at 2pm, Noble Horizons and the Scoville Library are teaming up to host a musical program like no other. Join musician and philosopher David Rothenberg in this all-ages event as we reveal the soundscapes of the Noble Horizons Pond using special technology. You’ll hear photosynthesis in action, bugs stridulating, fish grunting, turtles and salamanders milling about, and many sounds still unknown to science. Together, we’ll figure out what is making all the beautiful music out there, then join in and make some of our own! Bring a chair, blanket, and your own acoustic instrument so you can play along. No registration necessary, this is a rain-or-shine event.
