Sumi Ink Painting

Hannah Jung from the Voice of Art will introduce a basic approach to the techniques of Sumi Ink Painting through the theme of “Four Gentlemen” with step-by-step instructions and demonstrations. She will also share the noble characters of Four Gentlemen along with arts and cultural backgrounds of ancient China. Through the practice of techniques and exercises, students will learn East-Asian traditional aesthetics of simplicity as well as the essential expression of objects.

No experience required, and the supply fee for Noble Horizons residents will be waived!
