Jumping June

The weather has been beautiful, and we have been spending as much time outdoors as possible. After celebrating Memorial Day with a traditional BBQ, we enjoyed root beer floats by the garden and sang patriotic songs to commemorate the holiday. The national pride our population showed was remarkable, and they shared past experiences with all the American spirit you could ask for.

Our second year hosting the National Cancer Survivors Day Celebration did not disappoint! Maryellen Baldwin gave a heartfelt speech that touched the hearts of all in attendance. The delectable brunch provided by our very own Dietary Department ended with the participants celebrating life as they danced to the musical stylings provided by Peter Poirier. Residents, staff and community members all were very generous, and we are elated to report that we exceeded our donation expectations! We are so grateful and happy to be able to support such a magnificent cause that helps our extended community.

Now, onto our upcoming programs and events - all of which you are welcome to attend. These include art, exercise for the mind and body, and a one-of-a-kind dinner theater production: we're excited to announce the original performance of "A Spaghetti Wedding" on June 7th. Join us for dinner and a show that you will never forget! For more information about any of our community programs, please scroll below or visit our website events page. Don't forget to join our Facebook and Instagram platforms for any updates. We hope to see you on campus as we jump into June together.
