The past few weeks have been very busy, and we would like to take a moment to recap. We hosted another National Senior Health and Fitness Day event, and our residents and community were thrilled to participate. We are happy to continue to encourage our population of seniors to engage in a healthy lifestyle with our guidance for years to come.
Our first annual National Cancer Survivors Day celebration was observed here on campus, and we were honored to host this important event. Our residents and community members came together for this very special cause with Mary Barton leading the way as our guest speaker. She touched the hearts of all in attendance as she has for our Noble community for over 50 years! The generosity that was shown by our local businesses and friends to ensure that this was a successful event was not only touching but was also inspiring for future events such as this.
We kicked off National CNA Appreciation Week with a mobile ice cream parlor that served our favorite flavors with all toppings imaginable. Even in the rain, staff came out to enjoy this very special treat. All CNAs were awarded gift certificates to Mizza's (one of our favorite restaurants in the area) and we will continue to celebrate the week with many more special events to show our appreciation. We could not do what we do without the love and support of our CNAs. The care, generosity and compassion they show to our residents make us so grateful they are part of our team. Thank you to all CNAs out there for doing what you do best!
Residents have been keeping busy with garden club, baking and outdoor enjoyment in these past weeks and are looking forward to the change in season with much more engaging activities to come. As we officially enter into summer, we would like to remind you of several exciting programs and activities on the calendar that we are happy to share with you.
Start the summer with a clean car and support the Alzheimer's Association!
