Skilled Care at Noble Horizons

Riga Residence

Caring attention, 24 hours a day

Riga Residence is dedicated to those residents who require 24-hour nursing care. With a highly professional nursing staff working closely with our medical director, Riga residents are given individual attention and participate in a number of activities in the Wickman Room, a large and bright common room. Riga's spacious private rooms with half-bath are carpeted and have large windows overlooking lawns and gardens.

Helen O’Malley

"So often in this world we forget to say thank you when good deeds are done. The care than my parents received was a blessing for them and for my brother and me, letting us all continue for as long as we could a rich and loving life."

- Helen O’Malley, Daughter of former residents

The Whitridge Wing

Memory support with a gentle  touch

The Whitridge Wing is a separate area where residents who require memory support are cared for in a peaceful atmosphere and are encouraged to take part in activities that are pleasant reminders of their earlier lives. Both private and semi-private rooms are available and common rooms, including Whitridge Dining Room and its adjoining enclosed patio, are light-filled and cheerful.

Whitridge is home to the Snoezelen (SNOOZ-a-lin) Room, an innovative multi-sensory environmental therapy, which has been observed to decrease pain, improve the overall sense of well-being, reduce feelings of sadness and fear, and improve sleep habits. It incorporates aromatherapy, color and motion, and calming music or nature sounds that can be enjoyed regardless of physical or cognitive ability.

Emily Soell

"As people get older, they may want for less but they need more. They need company, they need community, they need caring. And that is what is provided, quietly, consistently, selflessly, day in and day out."

- Emily Soell, Sister of Wagner Terrace resident
