Get Balanced with Mark Liebergall's Tai Chi
Wednesdays from 10:30- 11:30
Tai Chi instructor Mark Liebergall will teach a weekly Tai Chi series at Noble Horizons. The ancient Chinese martial arts practices of tai chi and qi gong (pronounced CHEE-gung) combine slow, deliberate movements, meditation, and breathing exercises that can help your circulation, balance, and alignment. They can also help restore your energy, called chi or qi (pronounced "chee").
Noble Horizons Free Balance and Fall Prevention Series
Thursdays from 10:30-11:30 am, April 2 - May 7
Noble Horizons' free fall prevention and balance series resumes April 2 and will run weekly from 10:30-11:30 am through May 7. Taught by Noble Horizons physical therapists Kaitlyn Duerr, PT/DPT and Kim Tormay, MOT, OTR/L, CDP, the classes meet in the Community Room and may be joined at any time, although registration (below) is necessary. The classes will help improve balance, increase agility and develop muscle tone. Please register for the series below.
High Energy Zumba Classes with PJ
Tuesdays, from 5-6 pm
Certified Zumba instructor PJ Birriel will teach a weekly Zumba class in the Noble Horizons Community Room. PJ, well-known for his infectious energy, contagious spirit, humorous antics and disco lights, has taught Zumba at the Canaan Y, The Pulse in Great Barrington, and the Cranwell in Lenox. He also teaches Chair Zumba at Noble Horizons.
