Partnering with Salisbury Bank, 105 Years Young, House Calls

Like you, we are busy preparing for our Thanksgiving celebration although our festivities will be different this year. What remains firmly in place, however, is our gratitude.

During these difficult times, your friendship and support have helped us through the pandemic.  Whether a luncheon donated by a thoughtful family or pictures lovingly created by local school children, you remind us daily of our blessings and we THANK YOU!

Though the Festival of Trees and Holiday Fair will not inaugurate the holidays in 2020, creative hands at Noble have been busy making seasonal handicrafts to mark this special time of year. We've also been charmed by the cheerful drawings sent to us by Salisbury Central's Pre-Kindergarten who never miss an opportunity to share joy with us.

We send our warmest wishes to you this Thanksgiving.  May the love of family and friends-whether at your side or safely socially distanced-fill your holiday celebration.

Stay Sharp, Stay Strong, Stay Safe!

To help you remain healthy and informed, Noble continues to offer free programs through the holiday season.  In addition to our weekly exercise classes, you'll want to mark your calendar for Internet Security: Savvy, Safe, Secure, an essential program co-sponsored with Salisbury Bank on December 3 at 5:30 pm.

As the pandemic drives more of us online for work, school, entertainment, and holiday shopping, cybercrime is accelerating. Don't be a victim!  You will learn from Dave Hall, Salisbury Bank's cybersecurity expert, how to avoid scamming, identity theft, hacking, and other financial cybercrimes to keep you internet savvy, safe and secure. Lots of good news from Noble Horizons!  As of January 21, every person living or working at Noble is COVID-free, and 100% of Cobble, Wagner, Riga and Whitridge residents have been vaccinated!

Happy New Year! Like you, we were thrilled to see 2020 end and it was with extra exuberance that we welcomed 2021 with a New Year's Eve parade!  Accompanied by mimosas, residents cheered as staff members scattered bubbles and commemorated the opportunity for new beginnings.  We trust that you, too, were able to usher in hope and the possibility for better times ahead.

We're vaccinated!  The holiday season brought an extra-special gift to Noble Horizons residents and staff who on December 23 received their first of two COVID vaccinations!  Well over 100 vaccines were administered and nary a side effect was reported other than a few slightly sore arms.

The region's recent snowfall has created a magical panorama across Noble's campus. Views in every direction glisten in white and the Berkshire foothills are breathtaking.

Hope and relief abound at Noble in anticipation of Wednesday's administration of the COVID vaccine.  To learn more, please tune in to Bill Pond's Friday interview on the local NPR station.
