Living at Noble Horizons

Where beauty is in the details.

Life at Noble Horizons

Residents may enter Noble Horizons at any one of four separate levels of living: Independent Living, Intermediate Care, Skilled Nursing Care and Memory Care, each of which is expertly designed to meet each resident’s physical and social needs.

Additionally, Noble offers short-term residential rehabilitation for those who need nursing and supportive care while recovering from an illness or surgery.

Noble Horizons offers a wide range of amenities for our residents from our state-of-the-art Wellness Clinic and Fitness Center to our Beauty Salon and Spa, we have everything our residents need, including a dedicated staff to help.

Our Pets

Pets are important members of the Noble family and add greatly to our residents' happiness. Current resident pets include cats and an aviary housing parakeets. Area dog owners bring their Canine Link-trained pets for frequent visits.  Canine-Link training classes are taught at Noble several times a year.

Three chef-prepared meals are served daily in our spacious Riga Dining Room overlooking the ponds.  Residents often invite family to join them for holiday dinners, which are always festive occasions. Cottage residents may choose to have meals in the dining room for a nominal free.

Salisbury, CT

The charming, historic New England town of Salisbury, surrounded by hills, valleys, woods, farms and streams, is Noble's postcard-perfect setting. Salisbury, with a population of just over 4,000, and the small towns within a ten-mile radius offer an abundance of services and shopping opportunities.

Area Attractions

Tanglewood, Music Mountain, Yale at Norfolk, the Berkshire Theater Festival and Tri-Arts summer theater are all within easy driving distance. The independent boarding schools in and around Salisbury and the regional high school welcome residents to cultural and sports events. Students from these schools are among Noble's volunteers and participate in a variety of programs. Local arts, educational, environmental, historical and social service organizations cater to a variety of interests.

Health & Emergency

Sharon Hospital, a modern, acute-care hospital, is just eight miles away. The Salisbury Volunteer Ambulance Service, based a half-mile from Noble's front door, is staffed by highly trained emergency medical technicians with access to state of the art equipment. The Salisbury Visiting Nurse Association, founded in 1904, is the preferred provider of excellent home care services to our cottage residents.

Lisa Dahoney (Downey) Riley

"While visiting my mother in Whitridge, I grew very close to the nurses, her fellow residents and their families. So I became a volunteer in Whitridge, spending two hours there every Saturday. It’s the sense of community, of family that keeps me coming back."

- Lisa Dahoney (Downey) Riley, Daughter of a former resident and volunteer
