Director of Social Services & Admissions

Our leading not for profit continuum of care retirement village seeks an outstanding individual to fill this key position. A bachelor’s degree in social work and at least one year’s experience in health care facility is required.

Responsible for organizing and planning the social services program for residents at all levels and coordinating with departments within the facility and outside agencies to provide economic, psychological, emotional, and medical assistance at admission and throughout the resident’s stay.

Serves on care plan team and addresses psycho-social needs identified. Participates in the marketing effort, coordinates the Family Council and conducts support groups as needed. Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid regulations preferred. Position available mid-November.

This position requires the ability to organize and supervise the admissions process for individuals entering independent living accommodations and medical levels. 

• 40 hours. Monday through Friday
