Get Balanced with Mark Liebergall's Tai Chi

Tai Chi instructor Mark Liebergall will teach a weekly Tai Chi series at Noble Horizons. The ancient Chinese martial arts practices of tai chi and qi gong (pronounced CHEE-gung) combine slow, deliberate movements, meditation, and breathing exercises that can help your circulation, balance, and alignment. They can also help restore your energy, called chi or qi (pronounced "chee").

The low-impact moving meditations include standing and balancing. Qi gong and tai chi are excellent fitness activities for beginners and people with health conditions. The postures flow together without pause, making qi gong and tai chi look like slow, graceful dances that keep your body in constant motion.

The class will concentrate on the Tung family Yang style, the most widely practiced form of Tai Chi in the world, with warm up and balance exercises. Mark is a well-known Tai Chi instructor who teaches at the Lakeville Town Grove and has taught at Sharon Hospital. He has studied extensively with several Tai Chi experts.
