King Richard: Tragedy or History with George Faison

Noble Horizons invites you back to school summer style, with mini-enrichment classes taught by one of the area’s finest teachers.
George Faison will untangle Shakespeare’s web of deceit and manipulation in Richard II: Tragedy or History? Though deposing a monarch was considered a sin against God’s will in 1400, Richard II, a narcissistic, incompetent ruler, loses his crown, resulting in a conundrum the class will explore and debate.
Faison earned a B.A. and M.A.T. from Harvard University, and was on the faculty at The Hotchkiss School where he taught and directed Shakespeare plays for over 25-years. His class will meet on Tuesdays on July 10, 17, 24, 31 from 10am-noon.
The fee for each mini-enrichment class series is $25.
