Strokes: The Latest Prevention and Treatment Options

On April 28 at 11 am, Melissa Braislin, MS, CCC-SLP, Stroke Program Coordinator and Director of Rehabilitation Services at Health Quest/Sharon Hospital, will discuss the newest stroke prevention and treatment options.
Sharon Hospital is a nationally designated Primary Stroke Center https://www.healthquest.org/Brain-Spine/Stroke-Care-Sharon.aspx by the Healthcare Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP) and a TeleMedicine partner with Yale New Haven Hospital.
Braislin and the professionals from the Sharon Hospital’s Stroke Center recently completed a rigorous training in the latest stroke prevention and treatment techniques which have been integrated into Sharon Hospital’s stroke protocol. Braislin is also the Director of Speech Pathology at Sharon Hospital.
