Free Diabetes Series
On Monday, April 8, Noble Horizons will welcome back Anne Humel, MS, RN for her free 6-week diabetes management workshop. The series runs weekly on Mondays, 10 am-noon, through May 13. Hummel has offered the series for over two decades and has helped hundreds of people better manage their self-care, achieve improved control of their diabetes and communicate more effectively with their physicians.
This course is appropriate for anyone with type 1, type 2, or pre-diabetes, as well as the family, friends and professionals who support and care for them. Hummel will discuss medication, dietary choices, exercise and attitude. In addition, critical subjects such as foot care, skin care, dental care, routine eye exams, and stress reduction will be discussed. There is an optional walk at 9:30 am and an opportunity for individual review of personal records. Questions and discussion are encouraged.
Occasionally, events may be cancelled due to inclement weather or other conditions beyond our control. In that case, we will make every effort to update our website and contact registrants.
Official photographs made at the event may include you as a subject and could be used in future editorial and promotional contexts in print and electronic media. Images will not be identified using full names without written approval from the individual. Please notify Noble Horizons staff if you would prefer that your photo not be used.
