A summer trip to the Sharon Playhouse included a visit from Artistic Director Alan Wager

Your support has paved the way toward the purchase of a new van!

Thanks to the generosity of friends, family, residents, and others, members of the Noble Horizons community will soon be traveling in a 2020 Ford Transit van, equipped with a wheelchair lift and all necessary safety features.  We are humbled by the compassion and kindness reflected in your thoughtful gifts.  Noble’s free transportation is a unique amenity on which all Noble residents depend on for local trips and travel as far as New Haven or New York.

Thank you for caring and for paving the way to a new era of transportation; we are grateful for your support and impact throughout Noble Horizons.

"I don’t know what I would do without it. It’s the only way I can get around.” – Cottage Resident, Ollie Firuski
“One of my regular passengers loves McDonald’s, and on the way home from his appointments he always asks, ‘Do we have time for a treat?’ so we stop for his favorite snacks before returning to Noble.” – Amy McEnroe, Transportation Manager

The Supplementary Fund

The Supplementary Fund covers one-time or occasional necessary expenses, such as eyeglasses, dental appliances, hearing aids or clothing, for residents with very limited financial resources.

The Village Fund

Donations to the Village Fund are used to improve facilities, initiate programs and purchase equipment not provided for in the operating budget. The Village Fund supports pet therapy, art, and health education programs as well as the library collections. Funds raised through our Annual Appeal support the Village Fund.

The Robert E. Julien Music Appreciation Fund

The Robert E. Julien Music Appreciation Fund was established in 2016 to honor the late cottage resident's contributions to the artistic life of Noble. The fund brings professional musicians and music educators to Noble for the enjoyment of all members of the Noble community. Making music a regular part of the life of memory care residents is a particular focus of the fund.

The Dr. John R. Elliott Memorial Nursing Scholarship Fund

Established by the late Dorothea Elliott in memory of her husband, the fund provides scholarship support to Noble employees or their children who are attending college nursing programs.

The Employee Scholarship Fund

The Employee Scholarship Fund is a source of tuition reimbursement for employees pursing college degrees.
