Canaan Railroad Days

Railroad Days

Noble Horizons proudly participated in the 55th annual Canaan Railroad Days, a two-week celebration and festival of spectacular events, activities, competitions, music, carnival rides and so much more!  Pictured are Noble team members grilling and selling rib-eye steak sandwiches which sold out!  100% the proceeds were donated to the Canaan Fire Company and the Pilgrim House, home of the local food kitchen.  Just as sales ended the fireworks went off - enjoy the grand finale!

“I knew I liked Noble as soon as I arrived,” reflected Martina Sprague, a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and now, thanks to Noble’s tuition assistance program, also a certified nurse. “It's a different feeling here. This place feels like a home to everyone who lives and works here. I think of it as the Taj Mahal of long-term care.”

Nutrition Counselor Roufia Payman DT, CDN, supervisor of outpatient nutrition education at Nuvance's Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, is a veritable wealth of knowledge when it comes to healthy food strategies. This should come as no surprise considering Mrs.Payman’s thirty-eight years as a nutritionist, more than twenty of which have been spent in outpatient nutrition counseling.

“This place has been the best surprise of my adult life,” shared Jean O’Connor, a recent rehab patient at Noble Horizons. Although Ms. O’Connor’s stay at Noble may not have been long, the impression Noble’s staff and the level of care provided during the course of her rehab will stay with her for years to come.

Noble Horizons’ 5-Star rating is a reflection of the commitment, expertise and deep compassion Noble team members bring to their job each and every day.  While highly trained as healthcare professionals, they also bring a multitude of talents cultivated outside the workplace.
